FIRST STOCK POND IS DUG

The lake portion of the land is now completely cleared and the first stock pond is dug .
This pond will be our Arapaima pond . It is 60m long by 15m wide by 2.5 deep. We have placed it close to the main lake so that it will be more easy to move new Arapaimas into the lake .
Boom and Kwang have been at the land helping out . Boom has been great in translating to the workers and machine operators what i need done and what I am planning next.
The mountain portion of our land [as I call it ] has one area which is slowly changing from a mud hole.
To an even bigger mud hole.
To be our fish farm where we grow our fish from fry.
We have 2 mountain springs which are our water source for the stock ponds . The area around the springs doesn't look like much now but i have some cool ideas where guests can cool off in the spring water while watching the clouds come over the mountains.

HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND WE WILL ALL MISS HIM

In the middle of such an exciting project at such a pivotal point in my life it is with great sadness that i share the sad news that my father David Bailey has passed away unexpectedly from a massive stroke . He will be dearly missed by his family and friends . I have always said that my father made me who I am today . He taught me so much . I was lucky to be able to thank him for this at his bedside just hours before he died. Dad was so excited about what we are doing here at EFT and our plans for the lake and resort . We will finish the resort as a tribute to him and keep a special fishing spot open in his memory . I hope many children can fish here when we are done and share the similar experiences as I did with my Dad .
